Masi Continues The Journey Of "Give Love - Receive Happiness"
Continuing the journey of “Give love - Receive happiness", after the trip to the Future Shelter (Tuong Lai Shelter) in Binh Thuan province, the bus carrying Masi members and gifts filled with love continued to move to the Minh Tam Shelter - Linh Son Pagoda, one of the places that nurture orphans in Ho Chi Minh City.
Linh Son Pagoda - A place that carries unfortunate lives
Located in a small alley in District 12, for more than 20 years, Linh Son Pagoda has been the "sweet home" of more than 50 orphans raised by 3 nuns. Naming the shelter Minh Tam, the nuns hope that the children who grow up here will have a pure soul, a peaceful life and a kind heart.
The pagoda is the home that contains the love of nuns for unfortunate lives. Occasionally, the nuns discover a newborn baby abandoned in front of the gate, even sick. They will take the offspring to the hospital then the baby will become a new member. The shelter gradually became the family for many orphans. The nuns always care for the children both physically and mentally so that every child can feel warmth and love.
The orphans grew up in the love of the nuns
Not only does it take care of the children, but the shelter also creates conditions for them to go to school. Some have graduated from university, some are married and bring their families to visit the pagoda regularly. The children here are raised with love so they have the strength to enter life advantageously. Hopefully, all of you will maintain your innocence, honesty and will always remember the Minh Tam Shelter that gave you a new life with happiness and peace.
The pagoda was originally quiet, but since children appeared, it has been bustling with laughter. The elders teach the younger ones to read books and some children play together. Some who are shy run away when meeting strangers, but all of them are active and clever. Although it is difficult to be the "mothers" of 50 children at a time, the nuns always feel happy. The nun Thich Nu Nhu Xuan shared that no matter how miserable it was, the pagoda still did not want to take the children anywhere because they had adapted to the environment. If the offspring are abandoned again, they can easily lose faith in life.
Meaningful gifts from Masi
Understanding the difficulties and wanting to support the children to have a more fulfilling life, Masi gives the shelter gifts that we have carefully prepared. We also donated a little cash to help the shelter make daily expenses. The nun Thich Nu Nhu Xuan sent her sincere thanks to the team for visiting there and helping the children have better conditions.
Masi continues the journey of "Give love - Receive happiness"
We hope that our gifts will bring joy to the children there, encourage them to overcome all difficulties and grow up well. This is truly a meaningful and loving volunteer trip. In the future, we will continue our community-oriented activities, sharing more with society in the next journeys of "Give love - Receive happiness".
