MASI Group has officially integrated Kim Dao Animal Feed Company - marking a significant milestone in its ongoing journey to expand manufacturing capacity and strengthen its animal feed ingredient portfolio, which MASI has been developing for many years. With the addition of Kim Dao, MASI will own and operate three production factories dedicated to supplying raw materials for the animal feed industry, establishing a robust and large-scale foundation for the entire ecosystem.

In a market environment where the livestock and aquafeed ingredient sectors demand ever greater stability and supply capacity, the integration of the Kim Dao facility enables MASI to increase output, enhance its ability to fulfill large-volume orders and achieve greater supply chain autonomy, particularly as global demand for fishmeal and feed ingredients continues to rise sharply.

Kim Dao – A strategic pillar elevating MASI’s manufacturing capabilities

Kim Dao factory spans nearly 10,000 m² and is strategically located within the Fish sauce processing industrial cluster, adjacent to major seaports in Binh Thuan province. This prime location enables efficient sourcing and transportation of fresh, high quality raw materials. Thanks to the short distance from port to plant, raw inputs are delivered rapidly, preserving their natural nutritional value. With stable access to abundant marine resources, Kim Dao becomes the “ideal strategic fit” for MASI in expanding its marine-based ingredient production capacity.

The integration of Kim Dao creates significant synergistic advantages: two factories operating side by side, functioning in a coordinated system, forming a large-scale marine ingredient production cluster consisting of:

• Fish meal - Fish oil - Fish soluble paste
• Squid powder - Squid hydrolysate – a new product group in which Kim Dao will play a key developmental role.

This integration not only significantly increases the ecosystem’s total production capacity, optimizes transportation costs, shortens raw-material processing time, reduces production losses, but also expands overall warehousing capabilities. With larger storage space and synchronized operations between the two factories, MASI ecosystem can meet peak season demand, maintain a stable supply and deliver orders on time to domestic feed corporations as well as export markets.

Immediately after the integration, MASI rapidly standardized Kim Dao’s operating lines to align with the certifications applied across the entire ecosystem: GMP+, ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and FIP - MarinTrust IP.
